A baby is on the way for Emma Roberts and boyfriend Garrett Hedlund, multiple entertainment outlets are reporting.

According to E! News and "Entertainment Tonight," the "American Horror Story" actress' mother, Kelly Cunningham, seemed to confirm her daughter's pregnancy on social media Thursday after Us Weekly reported that the celebrity couple was expecting. 

"Yes!!" Cunningham replied to a fan who asked, "Is Emma pregnant?" in Instagram comments, E! and "ET" reported. In another comment, Cunningham said she was "very excited" to become a grandmother.

Roberts, 29, and Hedlund, 35, who were first romantically linked in March 2019, have not commented publicly on the reports, according to the outlets.

The child will be the pair's first, "ET" reported.

Us Weekly reported Thursday that the celebs were expecting, and when fans congratulated Kelly on Emma's pregnancy she confirmed the wonderful news. "Thank you so much! Very excited," she responded to one Instagram user. When another asked Kelly if Emma is pregnant, she wrote back, "Yes!!"

 This baby news comes just over a year after the stars first sparked romance rumors. In early 2019, Roberts split with her former beau and co-star Evan Peters after about five years together.

A source close to Roberts confirmed to E! News last year that she and Peters "broke off their engagement," ending their romance shortly after Valentine's Day.

"They have had their ups and downs for a while now and were really trying to make it work," the insider told E! News at the time. "Their split was a long time coming." 

"They are not on bad terms," the source shared, but added that they are "definitely taking space from each other right now."

By March 2019, Roberts, 29, had sparked a romance with Hedlund, 35.

As the source previously told E! News, the duo started spending time together in various "social settings," before things began to turn "romantic." After that time, the insider shared, "They have gone on a few casual dates and are exploring a relationship, but it is definitely not anything serious yet."

While Roberts, who is the niece of Oscar winner Julia Roberts, was said to just be "exploring a relationship" with Hedlund at the time, it appears that things have a taken a more serious turn over the last year, with the couple going on many romantic outings together.

Prior to his relationship with Roberts, Hedlund was in a relationship with Kirsten Dunst.

Reports of the two dating first started in March 2019 when they were photographed holding hands in Silver Lake. In January 2020, a source told Us Weekly that the two were not that serious. “They are not talking an engagement or marriage at the moment,” the source said. “They like hanging out and going out together, and their relationship is more fun than serious.”

The source added that the two were just “having fun and enjoying each other,” with no pressure to take things further.

Roberts has purposely kept her relationship with Hedlund to herself, declining to answer Cosmopolitan's question about their relationship for the magazine's May 2019 cover story. She did, however, open up about how she feels about the public's speculation about her private life.

“I spend hours on the phone with my mom,” Roberts said of how she handles paparazzi photos. “She puts everything into perspective. She’s never once judged me. I also have the most amazing group of friends. They come over and we lie in bed or talk, watch TV, or read short stories to each other. We open a bottle of wine. To me, that’s the best whenever anything is going on—to have everyone come over and be together.”

She told Cosmopolitan that she purposely keeps her love life private, including her breakups. “I never want to talk about relationships I’m in or that are ending or have ended," she said.
